S: 2 Corinthians 5:6 - So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the LORD.

O: Paul is again reaffirming the Corinthian church that so long as we are in these bodies, we are not home.

A: Right now, this is a necessary reminder for me. Recently just having two children, I worry about them and about their future: school, career, family, earth. But this is not my permanent home. And this will not be their permanent home. It really challenges me to evaluate where and how I invest my time, money, and energy. Will I invest in real estate, stock market, etc. or will I invest in "the least of these" and other things of heaven? I want God to be glorified. But it is hard because I am so selfish and weak.

P: Father...help me. I help me to see with Your eyes. I want to do what You want me to do. But it is hard. Help me, LORD. Amen.
