Christmas Begins with Christ - The Tearfund Advent Reading Plan

After chapters predicting devastation Isaiah 9 is a beam of light in an otherwise bleak and gloomy period of Israel's history. God promises relief to two tribes and their prized land destroyed by war. Thank God that in the darkest corners of our world God's message of hope shines the brightest. We see this in the phenomenal growth of the church in poorer countries.

40 years ago in Tikapur, Nepal, there were just two Christian believers in the area. This year, Pastor Madan is celebrating Christmas with 900 believers. Praise God for stories that are just like this happening around the world.
