In this plan, we'll read through the Bible in a year, following aspects of the Jewish traditional order in the Old Testament and spending a lengthier time in the New Testament. The Psalms are removed from the sequence and added instead as a second reading, encouraging a prayer element for each day. This plan was developed by Blackhawk Church in Madison, WI, to foster the practice of consuming Scripture daily.
