1 John 5

1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten of God: and whosoever loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.2 Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do his commandments.3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.4 For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even our faith.5 And who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood.7 And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is the truth.8 For there are three who bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and the three agree in one.9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for the witness of God is this, that he hath borne witness concerning his Son.10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in him: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he hath not believed in the witness that God hath borne concerning his Son.11 And the witness is this, that God gave unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.12 He that hath the Son hath the life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not the life.13 These things have I written unto you, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, even unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God.14 And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:15 and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.16 If any man see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: not concerning this do I say that he should make request.17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.18 We know that whosoever is begotten of God sinneth not; but he that was begotten of God keepeth himself, and the evil one toucheth him not.19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in the evil one.20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.21 My little children, guard yourselves from idols.

Дети Божьи побеждают мир

1 Те, кто верит, что Иисус — Христос, становятся детьми Божьими. И каждый, кто любит Отца, любит и дитя Его.

2 Вот как узнаем мы, что любим детей Божьих: любя Бога и повинуясь Его заповедям.

3 Вот как показываем мы свою любовь к Богу: тем, что исполняем заповеди Его. И заповеди Его не слишком трудно исполнять,

4 потому что каждый, кто от Бога, побеждает мир. И вот что принесло нам победу над миром — наша вера.

5 Так кто же завоюет мир, если не тот, кто верит, что Иисус — Сын Божий?

Бог свидетельствует о Сыне своём

6 Это Он, Иисус Христос, пришёл к нам с водойt и кровьюt. Он пришёл к нам не только с водой, но с водой и с кровью. И Дух — свидетель этому, потому что Дух — это истина.

7 Есть тому три свидетеля:

8 Дух, вода и кровь, и все они свидетельствуют об одном и том же.

9 Раз мы принимаем свидетельство людское, то должны признать, что свидетельство Бога ценнее. И вот каково свидетельство Бога: Он свидетельствует о Сыне Своём.

10 Кто верит в Сына Божьего, несёт это свидетельство в себе; кто не верит в то, что говорит Бог, превращает его в лжеца, потому что не верит в свидетельство Бога о Сыне Своём.

11 Свидетельство же вот в чём: Бог дал нам жизнь вечную, и жизнь эта в Сыне Его.

12 Тот, у кого есть Сын, имеет эту жизнь; тот же, у кого нет Сына Божьего, не имеет жизни этой.

Нам дарована вечная жизнь

13 Я пишу вам, верующим в Сына Божьего, чтобы вы знали, что обладаете вечной жизнью.

14 Мы с уверенностью можем прийти к Богу, потому что если попросим о чём-то согласно воле Его, то Он услышит нас.

15 И если мы знаем, что Он слышит нас, о чём бы мы ни просили Его, то знаем также, что то, о чём мы просили, Он нам даёт.

16 Если кто уличит брата своего в грехе, но не смертельном, то должен помолиться за брата, и Бог дарует ему жизнь. Я говорю о тех, кто впал в грех, но не смертельный. Есть же такой грех, который ведёт к смерти. Я не говорю, что вы должны молиться о таком грехе.

17 Любой неправедный поступок — грех, но есть грех, который не приводит к смерти.

18 Мы знаем, что, кто становится одним из детей Божьих, не упорствует в грехах, и Сын Божий бережёт егоt, и тогда лукавый не может повредить ему.

19 Мы знаем, что принадлежим Богу, хотя весь мир находится во власти лукавого.

20 Но мы знаем, что Сын Божий пришёл и принёс нам понимание, чтобы мы узнали истинного Бога. И мы пребываем в Том, Кто истинен, потому что мы в Сыне Его — Иисусе Христе. Он — истинный Бог, Он — жизнь вечная!
