    I wonder, at this time, how much all these people mixed together. So did people from the synogogue for Freedmen visit and listen to Stephen? They nust have done for them to be offended, or maybe he visited them in their synagogue? And how much did they regard themselves as being part of a broader group?     If John the Baptist was the greatest of all the prophets yet less than any of us then what can we learn from this? Jesus ushered in the the kingdom of heaven to within an arms length 'the kingdom of God is at hand'. The prophets performed all sorts of signs, miracles and healings, therefore the implication is that even the least in the kingdom of heaven should be able, as a minimum, to do these things also!
