The Pharisees were all up in arms because Jesus had just healed a man on the Sabbath. Jesus pointed out to them how they had no problem carrying out one of their religious customs on the Sabbath day, but when it came to having compassion on a man and healing him they totally missed it. Why is it a person can go out on their own and do things that is their own foolishness and then in the end blame it on God? I have seen this so many times, as though God is just their to give them their 3 wishes, like a genie in a bottle, but that isn't what God is like. bigguy2468 added a text contribution Dad's Favorite VerseI was looking at 2 Timothy 1:12 and thinking about how many times that I heard him quote this verse. Dad always believed that God was able to protect him through Christ until the day that he would stand before him. He knew that the blood of Jesus would cover him in the last day and that as he walked through this life he didn't need to be hung up on his failings because it was only by the grace of the one who saved him that mattered anyway.
