    So many times we ask or have asked of us, how do I grow my Faith. Here we see Jesus answer that exact question. The disciples failure to cast out demons is an occasion for Jesus to encourage them in the life of more prayer. Indicating that more time and effort in prayer and therefore in closer fellowship with God leads to growth in faith. Read more »

    Really the transfiguration in Luke is a Season Finale for chapter 9, it is summing up all that has taken place in Luke 9. We see that Jesus asked the Disciples "who the crowds says he is?" There response was Elijah, or a prophet of old that had risen. In v20 we see that Peter responds with he is the "Christ of God".
