I love these verses because Jesus speaks rather authoritatively to the teachers of the law and Pharisees - he stands in the face of looming hypocrisy. There are many names for Him: Master, Savior, Comforter, Redeemer, El Shaddai, Messiah, Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Friend, Healer, Morning Star, Son of God, Good Shepherd, etc etc. But to speak the name of Jesus... the only name which by we can be saved... just the mention of the name is powerful....
