  When God operates on you, He doesn't waste any time. He knocked out Adam and then took out his rib & then sowed him back up (probably perfectly with no scaring or evidence of surgery).   I was struck while reading this verse tonight that Adam was missing out on a "suitable helper". He saw all the animals with their "suitable helpers", but nothing for him. Isn't it exciting that God doesn't miss a beat. He sees what we need, when we need it and those two ideas don't always meet at the same time.   I found it interesting that Lot recognized the angels that came to his house that day? How were they distinguishable? Did they have a glow? Did they smell "holy"? What was it that Lot "saw"? I don't know what it was. Maybe God just gave that insightful recognition to Lot. My question is: can I recognize God in everyday things? If not, why? What am I missing?
