Deuteronomy 30:11-14
Deuteronomy 30:11-14 (MSG)
This commandment that I'm commanding you today isn't too much for you, it's not out of your reach. It's not on a high mountain—you don't have to get mountaineers to climb the peak and bring it down to your level and explain it before you can live it. And it's not across the ocean—you don't have to send sailors out to get it, bring it back, and then explain it before you can live it. No. The word is right here and now—as near as the tongue in your mouth, as near as the heart in your chest. Just do it!Created 4 days ago

I love how they recognized Jesus after time. How often does this happen at church? It probably happens a lot on Easter.

Worry
Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG)
Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.Created 6 months ago

Knowing God is Knowing ourselves
Really interesting here. If you don't know God, you don't know how to be human.

Paul's love for his people
As a pastor, it's amazing to me how much Paul loved those that he ministered to. Its convicting to think that I don't do the same. I need to reaching out more to this congregation and praying for them…

Galatians 2:21
Galatians 2:21 (MSG)
I am not going to go back on that. Is it not clear to you that to go back to that old rule-keeping, peer-pleasing religion would be an abandonment of everything personal and free in my relationship with God? I refuse to do that, to repudiate God's grace. If a living relationship with God could come by rule-keeping, then Christ died unnecessarily.Created 9 months ago
