    Even though Abram was trusting God and going to where God was showing,it seems to me he might have got a little off track by letting Sara be call his sister instead of his wife.May-be fear cause him to lack complete trust.I don't know,but I do know that God used a bad situation to continue to bless Abram.I mean look what he got,sheep,donkeys,cattle,camels and servants.Also pharaoh saw the power of God and Abram left unharmed.     I am really enjoying my study in the old testament,seeing and understanding things I didn't see before. Now as I read Genesis11. I see where man has strayed from Gods will for man,so God gets involved to help man get back on track.Seems to me man ,back then,got a little puff up thinking they could do anything with out Gods blessing or help,kinda like the way man is getting today.We may do things our way but but God's way and purpose is the way to life.     The secret place is where I meet with God to listen,to share,to refresh,to ask of Him and to praise Him.This verse tells me that dwelling with Him there that I will me in His shadow. When I was a little boy walking beside my father no matter where we went I felt no fear.He was my protection.Now as an adult this verse makes me feel like that but more so.I know that being in the shadow of the Almighty I have nothing to fear.
