She is clear-headed and compassionate and doesn't let her lack of social status prevent her from taking a stand to help someone.     Have you ever watched birds eating on a snowy day? It takes some effort on their part. They don't just sit in a heated house waiting for someone to bring them food. Is God feeding them?
