    I am taught that a prophesy often is two-sided :) At first, the prophesy is relevant for the person, this is called in my language "obvious/upper layer", and there is often a second layer, that is universal and for the future.     A few notes from a few lectures on my seminary school on Matthew. I'm Dutch, so please excuse any spelling errors: Matthew is the only that speaks about "the kingsdom of heaven". The other gospels all speak about "the kingdom of God". This gospel is written especially for the Jews, you can see that for example Jewish rituals aren't explained.
