hurtmike added a text contribution The Ultimate Family MeetingHere, Jacob draws his boys around him and has the ultimate family meeting. What he is about to do is lay out their future through his straight forward words and through his blessing. A few things jump out to me in this: 1. Jacob customized his message to each of his boys. hurtmike added a text contribution Decisions, DecisionsSometimes a simple decision is not a good decision. Am I to go to the right or to the left? Seems simple enough, but it isn't. Lot went where the grass looked greener, but he actually was walking into the Devil's backyard. Abram on the other hand walked into God's promise for him and his offspring. What is the lesson? When you make a decision, don't just look for green grass, look for how this decision will help you walk in God's promises for you. Read more »
