    Who wrote this gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God? What is a gospel of Jesus Christ? When was it written? Where was it written? Why was it written? The book of Mark is known as the first of the 4 gospels. Matthew, Luke, and John are the other 3. The book of Mark provided a literary basis for Matthew and Luke.
