    It doesn't matter if you've said you will go, it's whether or not you actually do it. Even if you initially say NO to God's calling on your life, if you end up doing it after all, it's counted as obedience in the end, even though you started off in rebellion. What has God called me to do that I have said NO to? And what has He called me to do that I've said YES to, but haven't followed through? Read more »

    God gave the command to Adam not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He didn't tell Eve - so Adam's responsibility was to love his wife through teaching her the commands of the Lord. This is a convicting passage for husbands. Men are to be spiritual leaders. This isn't just out of convenience or because God felt like assigning the task; as in this instance, it really is a matter of life and death. Read more »
