  Every time I read this story, I am reminded that Ananias was not killed because he held back money. He was killed because he lied about it and wanted to give the perception that he was giving it all.   In Chapter 1 two statements stuck out to me. The first is in verse 5 when Jesus said John baptized with water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Most of our examples of the spirit in our lives are sincere but weak examples of feeling nudged or led, but Jesus seems to be speaking of something much more.   Jesus tells us when we we begin our natural progression into worry, to remember the birds of the air. To be honest at first that doesn't bring me much comfort. I'm worried about big life problems and Jesus want's me to remember a bunch of birds?
