It then says he was made perfect, implying that he wasn't before. It sure makes you understand the humanity of Jesus. Read more »

jwish added a text contribution Obscure tree diseaseMy friends and I have a theory about this verse. This man was afflicted with two diseases. One was blindness. The other was a rare disorder that I'll call treepeople. It's symptoms must include thinking people are trees. He had this disorder all his life but since he was also blind he just assumed that he was surrounded by talking trees.
