Certain terrorist groups and nations - even descendants of the peoples mentioned in vers. 6-8 are saying the exact same thing. What does Asaph ask The Lord to do to them? see vers. 9-18. Oh Lord, help me to remember to pray for and to support the effort to make disciples of those in error so that as verse 18 says "they will learn that You alone are...LORD." Read more »

knightjasz added a text contribution The Lord's Desire For UsPsalm 81 This Psalm demonstrates the Lord's desire for us to be with Him in loving relationship. Especially notice verse 13. He promised to care for us and provide all the good things in our lives (see vers. 10,14-16). I think of a shepherd and the sheep of His flock. The only safe place for us sheep is with the Shepherd and His flock. The Shepherd protecting us and providing green pastures and still waters. Compare with Psalm 23. knightjasz added a text contribution How To Walk In The Spirit02.01.09 - Focus: (definition): "the concentration of attention or energy on something •" So focus on Heaven as opposed to this world i.e. the things on earth. Focus on The Lord as opposed to self. Focus on the Word as opposed to the philosophies of man.
