    In Acts 2 we see an exciting event. The Holy Spirit of God shows up in a powerful way. God's Spirit speaks through the tongues of men, in different languages, so that everyone can understand. It was a supernatural event. Yet, there were still some who questioned, and doubted. They thought they were drunk. God raised up Peter to correct their thinking.     The book of Acts is a continuation of what Jesus started in the Gospels. It's really a history of the church. It was in Acts that they were first called Christians. In Acts 1:8 we get a command that we are all witnesses. We are witnesses in our community, or city, or state, our nation and our world! Is a good translation. The good news is we can do it through the power of the Holy Spirit. It's only through His Spirit that this is possible. Read more »
