in the first sentence, it is pretty evident that judas probably thought they were going to lock jesus up, not kill him. and then he is filled with remorse, and more or less repents. the leading priests and elders... stop and think about that. think about who you know that could be called that in your congregation. the leading priests and elders expected him to sin, they were part of it, but were able to keep enough distance that they felt separate from it. i wonder how many 'leading prie… Read more »

the kingdom has everything to do with for getting our selves. He sends the Kingdom of heaven. It's here. She so believed Abram and loved him and didn't want him to be killed that she convincingly married Pharoh and let him, you know. I wish I could have heard the conversation when he tells her to say she is his sister, and then the conversation after they are told to leave. Read more »

Go announce to those that have wronged you and those that owe you something and those that you feel you deserve revenge against and forgive them. Walk away from your grudges and your bitterness.… Read more »

the quote at the end. ouch. is that me? i mean, it is at times for sure. most of the time. i guess the counterintuitive thing would be to say "i will be shaken, i will not always be happy and i will have trouble." if that's hard, which it certainly is for me, than maybe, just maybe, arrogance and pride have found home in your heart.
