    My service to the Lord as a pastor and the daily price paid by my family for following that high calling is a big part of my offering to the Lord. My human natureand father's heart would cause me to desire a very easy and rewarding pastorate, however as the stakes are raised during year 3 at this church, I am reminded that the price we pay is part of our offering and we lay before our Lord and how disappointing it would be to offer Him a life and ministry that cost me nothing.
