    The Lord is gracious and righteous: our God is full of compassion. How lucky are we? We have a God who loves us just because. He loves us plain and simple. Not because we are beautiful, have riches, or are 'fun to be around'. He loves us simply because we exist!! What love can compare to that? Nothing! Nothing on this Earth!     To give up control is a hard thing. Something I struggle with every minute it seems. But when I do, when I hand it all over to Jesus Christ...I feel a weight lifted off of me. I feel at peace. I worry about many things. My job, my family, my parenting, will I find that someone who will show me what marriage is supposed to be. I thought I found him...now he has moved.     There are days I feel lost. I wonder why such a loving God would put me in pain. A lost love. A lost hope. I am reminded that God put his only Son on the cross for me. What pain is that? That is real...real pain. Where there is suffering there is serenity. Where there is misery, there is joy. It reminds me of what I was taught growing up.     This reminds me that the Lord is my lamp. I can not see but one step at a time. Only He knows what lays ahead of me. Only He knows what is to come. I am to follow Him and only Him.
