This is such a great statement of my place spiritually. There is no more succint statement that I am in Christ. He is my everything (wisdom for decision making and living, righteous standing and power for ongoing sancitification, and I stand redeemed from my sin). One might think that he is defining who the "church" is at Corinth with the phrase..."even them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus." Normally the word sanctified is seen by us in terms of the progressive spiritual formation of the believer.
