rrpjr added a text contribution Are we like the Babylonians
when reading Habakkuk I can not stop looking at all the similarities to today in America. . . . Not only in the world we see mistreatment but also within the Church, how much arguing and fighting is there..? (hab 1:3-4). . . Really look at it.. There is a lot of pride in and out of the Church, where is the humility..? We say I want to be Christ like.. I believe that He detested the proud and arrogant. rrpjr added a text contribution it is time to stop sleeping
I have been dwelling on prayer for several weeks now, and feel that many Christians are falling asleep in the Garden. ( Just as the disciples fell asleep in the Garden Gethsemane. do we have idols today..? often I ponder the things we idolize in our society.. I feel that even as believers we tend to make our own idols.. to some it is $ ( money ) to others it is a certain pastor, a worship leader, or even the building we go worship the Lord our God in.. ( some might refer to it as the Church ) God doesn't want it, He wants us and for us to want Him.. How can we say we are Christians and act nothing like Christ? Read more »
