Paul hit the nail on the head when he said, "We dared to tell you about the Gospel even in the face of strong opposition". This could not be more pertinent today. Society has arrived at a place where morality is subjective and your morals may not be the same as mine. Jesus pays the bill, even though He doesn't have too. The temple taxes instituted in Ex 30 for the building of the tabernacle are basically voluntary, some sects pay them and others don't. They are not enforceable by law and Rabbi's and Prominent teachers are most definitely exempt.
