This passage is freakin sweet. It tells us we can search all our life on earth to find fascinating things, but wisdom cannot be attained from the earth, but it is from God. You can search the earth your whole life to find new, interesting things, or you can spend your life searching and seeking God, while attaining wisdom and understanding. BOMB Read more »

In my experience it nevers turns out as well as we had hoped or imagined, or once we get whatever it is we want, we quickly move on and forget about it, mission accomplished. I know in my experience I sometimes want to bring people to church that I think would be "easy" to get them to follow Christ. But anymore that's not what I want, or feel is right. Why do you think that tax collectors and prostitues followed when they heard about Jesus? Because they were broken, because their lives were messed up, and they saw something far greater than the life that they were living. We get the word, we understand the word, usally. What do we do with the word? Often we get it, and it stops shortly after that. But lets really use it. teddrokyc added a text contribution Favorite Scripture!!!This just speaks to me because sometimes we have to give things up for Christ, things that may mean a lot to us, or things that we hate. The reality of it is, addictions are awesome to give to god...and I was glad to do so, but my bad boi car was a different story. The best part of this scripture is anything of this world, means nothing compared to the greatness of knowing God. He is utterly and astonishly amazing. Often times we get so caught up in saying that were too busy or that I dont have any time. But, God is good, and as he says here, My power is made perfect in your weakness.
