Just like Adam and Eve in the garden, we are deceived by Satan and our flesh into thinking that what we want for ourselves and all the world has to offer will be better and more satisfying than what God wants for us. We falsely believe that God's way is burdensome when it is actually the abundant life for which we are so deeply longing. As Jesus said, his "burden is light." Read more »
