    Just noting that in 2 Kings 14:4 and 2 Kings 15:4 (reference coming...) that both kings were good except for they allowed the sex/religion shrines to stay. I absolutely believe that that is the biggest barrier in pastors and believers lives and these verses remind me that it has been that way literally for centuries.     Reading this shows me that even when Saul was against Jesus - God used him. Because of Saul persecuting the Christians, "Forced to leave home base, the followers of Jesus all became missionaries. Wherever they were scattered, they preached the Message about Jesus." Acts 8:4 (MSG). Even though Saul was not following Jesus - God took the bad that he was doing and used it to bring Glory to Himself! Just another reminder that God IS in control Read more »

    Just reading this I was reminded of "Share Jesus Without Fear" A great book I had to read while in college at CCBBC. This shows us that we are expected to warn people. I almost hesitate writing that because it sounds like I'm preaching hell, fire and brimstone. But what I mean by that is, people are sinning and they need forgiveness. They need love.
