    How many times to I come to Jesus and not kneel before him. I simply stand. There's not anything wrong with standing. But heart-wise, I need to approach Jesus knelt before him. So many times I approach him with my agenda, on my terms... almost cocky. I need to be more like the leper here and come to God on bended knee. Read more »

    Imagine what the people thought of Noah and his family as they built a huge ark. I can imagine some people saying, "Hey stupid. Why you building such a huge boat? It ain't even raining." But Noah pursued God's calling and command. He may have struggled with the thought and the thoughts of others. But Noah obeyed God.     Verse 24 is cool. The only verse in chapter five where says someone walked with God. That's what I want said of my life. Because in the end, what else matters... nothing. I want said, Todd walked with God by loving his wife greatly, by loving his kids with all his heart, by showing compassion to the heartless, and by obeying God.     I love this verse. Probably one of my all time favorites... God asking where Adam is at. Are you kidding me? Love it. God always knows where we are at - physically, mentally, spiritually, socially... etc. I think that God wanted Adam to know Adam was at... i.e. hiding like a little school girl in the bushes.     I've heard people say that the problem with temptation and with sin is that they don't deliver what they promise. I'd like to think of it differently... I think that temptation and sin delivers what it promises... good times, fun times, satisfaction, gratification... etc. Check out verses six and seven...
