  In Gen 1:3 we read God created the heavens and the Earth by speaking. In Hebrews 1:3, we read Jesus sustains all things through his powerful word. And in Psalms 46:6, we read that when He lifts His voice, the earth melts. God creates, sustains and ultimately destroys thorugh the words that He speaks.
