    At the first reading of this, one might be inclined to think that all John was clad in was camel's hair held together by a leather belt. I think not. If one hears today, "Bill wore a white shirt to work today." Does one think that Bill wore only a white shirt and nothing else? Of course not. So I don't think that John was only wearing camel's hair and a leather belt for clothes. What then is the point of this passage? I believe the author of Mark wanted to point out… Read more »
