Naked But Not Ashamed
I think it's interesting here that before eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil the man and woman were naked but not ashamed.
It wasn't until eating from the wrong tree that they became acutley aware of their nakedness.
I believe the tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents the law by which is the knowledge of sin. The law tells you what is right and it tells you what is not right and God specifically warned Adam not to eat of that tree but he did anyway. True to God's Word Adam died that day spiritually.
