We’re innovating new ways for people to engage with God’s Word in a digital age, and we’re passionate about leveraging the latest technology to reach people no matter where they are or what languages they speak.

As part of the Community Engagement team, the YouVersion Social Media Specialist will lead the way in crafting exceptional posts for social media to engage a growing and diverse community. We’re looking for a creative who’s highly obsessed with impacting people through social media to see high-impact results for the Kingdom. Do you get excited about creating ridiculously high-quality, extremely effective, super-engaging social media content? Here’s what you’ll do:

• Develop a focused marketing strategy to increase traffic and visibility to YouVersion platforms while maintaining a high level of personal touch
• Manage social media accounts for brands like YouVersion Bible App, Bible Lens, and Bible App for Kids across multiple social channels
• Craft highly engaging written and visual content, including videos, Instagram Stories, and Verse Images
• Meaningfully engage with the YouVersion Community through comments and replies using the YouVersion voice
• Define performance indicators and implement analytic and reporting methods to determine success
• Regularly collaborate with other designers, copywriters, and project leaders

You’re probably a good fit if you:

• Are active on multiple social media accounts and have a proven track record of growing healthy, online communities
• Possess strong writing, design, photography, and video production skills
• Have growing leadership skills and are able to recruit and lead a team of volunteers
• Have high attention to detail and can spot a typo from miles away
• Are a long-time Bible App user with excellent ideas about how our social accounts can encourage people to interact with God’s Word

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Love using a DSLR camera to take photos and videos for social media
• Are skilled in the latest design software
• Quickly adapt to emerging, shifting trends in design and social media
• Find ways to optimize and share existing content
• Are able to operate in a quick, fast-paced environment
